The Drum FullKit™ is the ultimate set of High Definition drum microphones. We took the original DFK1 and replaced the 2 SR30s with 2 SR40s to give your drums even more depth and realism. It includes microphones and mic accessories for each element of the drum set, and comes housed in two high-impact carrying cases. The custom foam insert for each case makes it easy to store your drum microphones and related accessories when they are not in use. The high-impact case will also protect the microphones and accessories while you are traveling or touring. The cases can be dropped without damaging either the case or the microphones.
Improved impulse response for faster and more accurate transients
Shorter diaphragm settling time to prevent quieter attacks from being blurred by earlier loud attacks
Extended frequency response to 30 kHz to capture a crisper and more realistic image
Near perfect polar patterns that remain even across all frequencies and at any position within the pattern
For recording louder sources such as drums, percussion, brass, amplified instruments and loud sound effects
The TC Series (Time Coherent) is designed for recording louder sources such as drums, percussion, amplified instruments and loud sound effects. Microphones in this series allow recording of louder acoustic sources without overloading the preamplifier. Models in the TC Series are often the choice for recording drum overheads, close miked or amplified instruments and sound effects.
Effortlessly handle high sound pressure levels up to 150dB SPL while simultaneously capturing subtle details
The TC series provides all of the same attributes as the QTC Series in impulse response, diaphragm settling time and extended frequency response
Exceptional flat frequency response and are time coherent, so they sound natural and uncolored
Models
Omni – 10Hz to 20kHz. The TC20(same as the SRO) is great for a wide variety of applications. Many musicians use a matched pair for recording their groups in the studio or during a live performance. The TC20 is priced to fit the working musician’s budget and is a great choice for general purpose recording applications.
Omni – 9Hz to 25kHz. The TC25was specifically designed for drums and is also ideal miking instruments such as guitar, string instruments and piano. Its high frequency response extends to 25kHz and it costs less than the TC30. The TC25 is an integral part of our DK25/R DrumKit™ System.
Omni – 9Hz to 30kHz. The TC30(same as the TC30K) is our top of the line microphone for recording louder sources. It is a popular choice for recording as drum overheads and for close-miked acoustic instruments and amplified instruments. With a high frequency response to 30kHz it captures minute details and is the choice of many professionals.
Earthworks High Definition Microphones™ will provide a substantially better drum sound than conventional microphones. The DrumKit™ Series three-microphone systems provide a more cohesive and unified drum sound. You’ll hear more attack, more subtle detail and a more pristine quality in the sound than with any other microphones. The Earthworks drum microphones capture every nuance of sound from each piece of the drum set with such an exceptional clarity and cohesiveness, which make it sound like a live set of drums, not a bunch of pieces.

Hear more attack and subtle detail
Increased detail and dynamic range
Versatile, multi-use mics
Mics are protected in a high impact case
Fast setup and teardown
Improved impulse response for faster and more accurate transients
Shorter diaphragm settling time to prevent quieter attacks from being blurred by earlier loud attacks
Extended frequency response to 30 kHz to capture a crisper and more realistic image
Near perfect polar patterns that remain even across all frequencies and at any position within the pattern
The DK25/L is the ideal three-mic choice for live performance or recording in less than ideal acoustic environments. The SR25 cardioid microphones cut off at 50Hz which is ideal for overheads and also for spot miking the snare and/or toms.
The DK25/R omni microphones are exceptional for studio recording in a room with good acoustics. If your room acoustics are less than ideal, cardioid overheads will pick up less room sound.
The 50Hz response of the QTC50s will provide a spectacular drum sound. The QTC50s incredible frequency response (3Hz to 50kHz) with exceptional impulse response and short diaphragm settling time delivers unbelievable results on drums and percussion.

He remembers how it felt when he first received his DFK1 Drum FullKit™ System and his DK50/R: “When I saw them and opened them, I knew they were the goods. It’s as if you wake up on Christmas morning and somebody puts a Maserati right in your driveway. Aesthetically, these mics are beautiful and when you listen back, they sound spectacular.”

“Earthworks were recommended to me by a friend and I instantly liked their sound. Very crisp and natural sounding. Unlike some larger mics that color the sound as it rolls around in the capsules, the small diaphragm Earthworks gives a clarity and unfiltered translation of the sounds in the room.”
