Audible Differences of Microphone High Frequency Response on Acoustic Guitar

Scientific studies have shown that harmonics in music can go up to 100kHz and beyond. Other studies indicate that most humans can perceive sounds above 20kHz. This can be demonstrated in the following series of separate recordings of an acoustic guitar, each recorded with different microphones varying in high frequency response from 20kHz up to 50kHz.

1stTC20 with a 20kHz response

2ndTC25 with a 25kHz response

3rdQTC30 with a 30kHz response

4thQTC40 with a 40kHz response

5thQTC50 with a 50kHz response

(there is a short blank space between each recorded segment)
